Customer Service Specialist - Two Openings

Full Time Position

Salt Lake City, Utah

Position Overview:

The position reports to the Client Services Manager. This is an entry-level hourly position with the primary responsibility of providing telephone support to customers their account activity with EnerBank USA. Additionally, this position is responsible for many administrative tasks related to BancSource customer accounting. Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain focused are essential to success in this position. In this position, the employee will need to be proficient using several software applications including BancSource, Unifi, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook. On-the-job training will be provided, but the employee will need to become proficient utilizing these applications quickly.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Telephone support for customers – counsel customers regarding loan accounts
  • Document conversations with customers and actions taken
  • Prepare customer account histories, loan balances and payoffs
  • Process customer payments via phone
  • Process customer account maintenance requests
  • Post customer payments in Fiserv
  • Waive small balances and make approved adjustments to loan accounts in Fiserv
  • Process charge off accounts in Fiserv
  • Prepare NSF letters to customers
  • “Scrub” new accounts to update CRF in BancSource
  • Review and mail automated customer correspondence
  • Review and note accounts for customer correspondence as required
  • Miscellaneous projects as assigned

  • MS Office experience

Work Hours: The business hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM, Saturdays 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Sundays 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Occasional overtime may be required in this position.

Compensation:

Starting wage: $12.00 per hour.

Instructional Designer/Sales Trainer

Full Time Position

Overview:

The Instructional Designer/Trainer will play an essential role in the achievement of both client and bank annual sales goals. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop instructional training course materials for home improvement contractors as well as the EnerBank Sales & Marketing team. You will teach home improvement contractor business owners, sales teams, and office staffs how to apply best practices to increase their sales by offering the bank’s unbeatable choice of payment options to all prospective customers.

Reporting to the VP/Training, you must be able to demonstrate and use effective needs analysis, project management, and technical course design methods. You must also have experience utilizing multimedia technology and authoring tools.

In addition to instructional design, you will fulfill a secondary responsibility as a sales trainer for our home improvement and remodeling contractor clients. As such, you will conduct training via phone, webinars, and in person on occasion. In this role, the Instructional Designer/Sales Trainer must be a dynamic and professional presenter.

Basic Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop instructional training course materials for the EnerBank USA sales and marketing team as well as home improvement contractors based upon a thorough needs analysis.
  • Conduct live telephone conference and webinar based training as well as record virtual on-demand training modules for new and existing contractors.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training against bank objectives and recommend appropriate changes.
  • Desire to continuously improve training effectiveness by learning and implementing new features of development tools and software.
  • Maintain a schedule of classroom or phone training sessions.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA or BS college degree and minimum of four years course design experience.
  • Strong pc skills and expertise in MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and on-demand training options like Brainshark.
  • Ability to quickly learn the bank’s products, marketing positioning, sales strategies, work flow processes, and competitive landscape.
  • Knowledge of multi technical writing tools.
  • Ability to understand and communicate concepts quickly and accurately to all levels of management within the bank.
  • Excellent presentation skills, including development and delivery.
