Company Overview.

EnerBank is a highly specialized bank founded June 1, 2002 and headquartered in Salt Lake City, providing unsecured home improvement lending through strategic business partners and independent home improvement contractors throughout the United States. Strategic partners include manufacturers, distributors, franchisors, and major retailers of home improvement, remodeling, and energy saving products and services. The bank provides private label loan programs for strategic partner organizations (“loan program sponsors”), which in turn make those programs available to their networks of dealers.

President & CEO

Charles E. Knadler serves as EnerBank’s President and CEO, responsible for the overall management of this highly specialized FDIC-insured bank whose only business is unsecured home improvement lending. EnerBank, the only bank in the US to exclusively serve the home improvement lending market has sustained a strong growth rate, superior asset quality and profitability before, during and after the recession. He attributes the success of the financial institution to an innovative business plan, high degree of specialization, geographic diversification (EnerBank serves a national market) and responsiveness to the needs of home improvement contractors and the homeowners they serve. He was named to the position on January 1, 2016..

Prior to his current position, Charles was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 2010 through the end of 2015 and Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer from 2005 to 2010. His career in financial services started in 1994 and includes experience in sales, credit, compliance and finance. Prior to joining EnerBank, he managed the home improvement credit department at Associates First Capital Corporation.

Charles serves on the Finance Committee of NeighborWorks Salt Lake, a non-profit organization with the mission of revitalizing neighborhoods and creating affordable housing. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the Utah Association of Financial Services and the National Association of Industrial Banks

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Charles received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and MBA from the University of Utah. .

Kristin B. Dittmer is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of EnerBank USA, a nationwide provider of unsecured home improvement loans.

Prior to her current position, Kristin served as Executive Vice President of Finance and Credit and Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer from 2010 to 2015. Prior to joining EnerBank, Kristin was the Chief Credit Officer at BMW Bank of North America. She began her banking career as a Financial Examiner with the Utah Department of Financial Institutions. In this capacity she conducted extensive on-site examinations of both large and small state-chartered community banks, industrial banks, and credit unions.

Kristin currently serves on the Credit Committee of the Utah Small Business Growth Initiative, a non-profit with a mission of creating jobs by providing growing businesses with access to additional funding. She also serves on the Advisory Board of the Eccles Opportunity Scholars Program at the University of Utah. Kristin joined the Board of the Utah Bankers Association in August 2016 and continues to serve as a mentor for their Executive Development Program. Utah Business Magazine selected Kristin as one of 30 Women to Watch in 2016.

Kristin holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Finance and a Master’s of Business Administration degree both awarded by the University of Utah.

Dawn M. Cannon is the Executive Vice President of Bank Operations for EnerBank USA, a nationwide provider of unsecured home improvement loans, and has primary responsibility for overall bank operations and information technology. Her areas of responsibility include information technology systems and infrastructure, information security, consumer lending, loan documentation, client services, contractor support, collections, customer relations and complaint resolution, business continuity, project management, physical premises and facilities management, office management, asset management and process improvement.

Dawn has worked for EnerBank USA for over 11 years serving in a variety of management positions in the areas of accounting, IT and operations. Prior to joining EnerBank USA, she worked in the manufacturing industry for several years with a specialty in cost accounting. She also volunteers her time and resources by serving as a volunteer tax preparer for the IRS’ Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program, serving on an employer committee for People Helping People of Utah, and serving as a member of the United Way of Salt Lake’s Women’s Leadership Council.

Born and raised in the state of Michigan, Dawn holds a B.S. in Accounting from Baker College and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Spring Arbor University; graduating summa cum laude in both programs.

John Harris is Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing of EnerBank USA where he manages and directs sales and marketing for the bank. John is also responsible for defining the bank’s long-term marketing and product strategies. He mentors and manages a team of relationship management, business development, training and marketing professionals.

John is a member of the bank’s executive management team playing a pivotal role in shaping strategy and policy for the bank. He joined the bank in 2004 after serving for several years as Vice President Marketing for KeySpan Home Energy Services, a multi-state residential HVAC and plumbing contractor.

Prior to working at KeySpan, John was a senior executive and Chief Marketing Officer of several regional and national financial services companies including Valley National Bancorp and CenTrust Bank. He has over 25 years’ experience in the finance and home improvement sectors. John holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Economics from Florida State University.

Robb Kerry is the Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of EnerBank USA and is responsible for all aspects of consumer and commercial credit risk in the Bank’s portfolio of unsecured home improvement loans.

Previously, Robb was at GE Capital Bank where he spent the past 5 years as the Models and Quantitative Risk Leader, where he oversaw all aspects of credit modeling and portfolio stress testing. Robb has also been Chief Credit Officer at both ADB Bank and Cache Valley Bank. He began his banking career as a Financial Examiner for the Utah Department of Financial Institutions.

Robb received his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Spanish from Weber State University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. Robb joined EnerBank in 2015.

Blaine Bagley is Senior Vice President, Call Center Operations of EnerBank USA, where he manages a team of 150 call center professionals, including client services, collections, contractor support, customer relations, lending and office management. Previously, he was Vice President and Manager of Loan Operations where his responsibilities included the lending and collections departments. Blaine has over 20 years of banking/collections experience. He joined EnerBank USA in 2005 after ten years as the group Vice President and Director of Collections for American Investment Bank, NA, a nationally chartered bank where he oversaw the operations of the auto and recreational loan portfolios.

Blaine is also active in his local community serving regularly in the youth homeless transition center sponsored by The Volunteers of America. He often attends and supports People Helping People events, Arts, Inc., Children’s Services Society and the Utah Non Profit Association. He is an active member of the Salt Lake Tennis and Swimming Club currently working to improve his tennis game and is a life-long pianist who enjoys playing movie themes and classical arrangements.

Blaine completed his general education and studied political Science at Utah State University (1989) and holds a degree and certified as a paralegal from Salt Lake Community College (1991). Additionally, he has extensive training through the American Management Association.

Neil R. Fellows is Senior Vice President of Legal and Regulatory Affairs and Chief Compliance Officer of EnerBank USA, a nationwide provider of unsecured home improvement loans. Neil also serves as Corporate Secretary of EnerBank USA. He was named to these positions effective January 1, 2014.

Prior to joining EnerBank USA, Neil held various legal positions for CMS Energy Corporation (the parent company of EnerBank USA) and its affiliates since 1987. Since 2009, Neil has been providing transactional, commercial and conflict resolution legal services to EnerBank USA while employed at other CMS Energy affiliated companies.

Neil currently serves as a Director on the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Utah. Junior Achievement of Utah was established in 1956 to educate Utah’s students in work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs.

Neil was born in England and raised in Michigan. He earned a B.S. in Business from Central Michigan University and a J.D. from Wayne State University Law School.

Rob Palmer is the Senior Vice President, IT Manager for EnerBank USA, a nationwide provider of unsecured home improvement loans. He has primary responsibility for IT and Project Management. Rob also serves as the Chairman of the IT Committee for EnerBank USA.

Rob has worked for EnerBank USA since 2012. Prior to joining EnerBank USA, Rob held various leadership positions in IT departments in the Financial Services and Health Care industries. He has worked in IT for over 19 years with specialization in software development, database architecture, process improvement and project management.

Rob was born and raised in Florida. He earned a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Florida Tech.

The CMS Energy Code of Conduct has helped shape the way EnerBank conducts its business as a good corporate citizen. The new EnerBank Code of Conduct continues in this tradition and, while more specifically tailored to the unique role of EnerBank within the CMS Energy family of companies, incorporates all of the fundamental aspects of the CMS Energy Code of Conduct. Ethical behavior has always been and will always be an important part of who we are at EnerBank.
